Milestones 2008
The rain in the 2007 had a huge effect
on the season's fixtures, but whenever there was a game everyone
made the most of it. Congratulations to all who reached their
milestones or nearly made it (Steveo just 3 balls away from
his 200 overs). However, as ever there is always next season!
Just to note the 'stats' shown below
don't necessarily show who has the 'best' or 'most' figures
in the club, only those milestones which are likely to be
met in the forth-coming season.

The influx of new 'slim' players in 2007 came as a bit of a
shock to some of the older, fatter members of the squad, however,
they have made it their challenge in 2008 to introduce the newbies
to the joy of pies. Overseas entry - TH made a valiant attempt
to take the 'Most Expanded Belly' competition (see
here), but almost beyond belief it was Shakey who took the
honour (again) mainly down to a trip to the curry capital of
the world and quick thinking at the airport where he chartered
a jumbo to export 30,000 ready made curries to feed him for
the duration of the season (he went in August...see
